Piccards and Wafer card instructions

Connect printer lead.
Connect power supply, 15-18 volts. 12volts will not always work properly.
Check which chip you have F84 uses power on timer unless code instructions
tells you not to use it. Press P to switch on/off.Do this after loading file.
To program a MM2/3 card, always program the pic84 first with a
loader, (not needed for D2mac.)
Make sure the switch is in the 1 position (righthand postion)
Start pix113b.exe
To program, a file is needed, press F3 then press enter
if the file you need is not seen, move to the correct directory and press enter
highlight the file you need, press enter answer yes to load. 
Press F9 to (program) blow the chip.

Press Ctrl and F6 to get you on the eprom menu.
Make sure the switch is in the M postion or remove 24c** chip put in dil socket.
(lefthand postion only if you have the correct pcb )
F8 selects the eprom you want to program usually the 24c16 is used.
Press F3 to load a file from the disired directory.
Highlight file press enter 
eg  file.hex
Press F9 to blow (program)the eprom 
When updating your card you only need to reprogram the eprom as the pic84 
program is always the same. (all the keys are in the eprom.)

WAFER EPROM SECTION

Connect mouse extension cable to programmer and comport 1.
Connect 9 volt centre pin positive powersupply.
When programming the eprom in the wafer cards make sure you have used above
instructions to put on a loader(NOT D2MAC) in postion 1.
To program the eprom with a file, you need to connect your smartcard programmer
to a comport (set the comport in pix.cfg, default is phoenix=1) 
Press Ctrl and F6 then M.
You will now be in the multimac menu,load the file as normal F3, highlight file
then enter.
F9 to blow(program) just the same.
To upgrade you wafer card you need to start from the begining (NOT D2MAC, JUST EPROM FILE)

FOLLOW EXACTLY WHAT IS SAID, THEN YOU WILL NOT HAVE PROBLEMS.
